All About Wonder

In my last post about Leanne and the Guides, I talked about the importance of maintaining openness, and the power of an "I wonder" attitude. In "The Gift Book" the Guides describe 115 gifts of the Spirit, and here is what they say about the gift of "wonder":

The gift of Wonder is the gift of our true innocence.

The gift of Wonder is seeing everything with the eyes of a child.

The gift of Wonder is the ability to see everything in the freshness and newness of the moment.

The gift of Wonder sees everything and everyone for the first time without judgment.

The gift of Wonder is the consideration that there may be another way.

The gift of Wonder is the gift of total delight in each gift we receive and each gift we give.

The gift of Wonder is the amazement we feel, watching the power of love heal every situation.

The gift of Wonder opens us to consider what gifts our Higher Power will bring today.

The gift of Wonder enables us to live in continual gratitude.

Life is full of Wonder. With the gift of Wonder, all prejudice is seen beyond and we find each other. We are given the gift of Wonder for the beauty of our own inner being. We are given the gift of Wonder for the beauty of each other and the gifts we have to offer.

There is Wonder in realizing that we are all entitled to so much. The gift of Wonder brings us in touch with the gift of Humility - that in Humility, we are totally overwhelmed by the tremendous love that is all around us.

We are full of the wonder of love.

We are full of the wonder of beauty.

We are full of the wonder of each moment.

We are full of the wonder of joy.

We are full of the wonder of a power that loves us so much and gives us the gift of Wonder.

We are full of wonder at the power and divinity within us.

We are full of the wonder of God's Grace.

Each gift of wonder is one more connection with our oneness. Each gift of wonder is one more insight into the connectedness of all things.

The gift of wonder places us in touch with the simplicity of asking, with the simplicity of our Higher Power's will, with the miracle of all His solutions.
